Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Sparka. By creating an account, or by joining a session as a participant, you agree to them. This is the plain-language version; we'll add a fuller version when we hire a lawyer.

The deal

• We provide Sparka: live polls, quizzes and word clouds for your presentations, and the tools to create and run them.
• You agree to use it for lawful purposes only and not to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
• You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process it as needed to deliver the product.
• You are responsible for keeping your secret keys private and for what your connected apps do with your account.

Subscriptions

• Paid plans bill monthly via Stripe, in advance, in USD.
• You can cancel any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't issue mid-cycle refunds except where required by law.
• If you delete your account, any subscription ends immediately, without a refund for the rest of the period.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days notice via email. Existing customers keep their current price for the next billing cycle after any change.

Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to harm other users, or fail to pay. We'll give you a chance to fix the issue first whenever possible.

No warranty, limitation of liability

The product is provided "as is" without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, Sparka Labs LLC's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the product is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
