Privacy Policy

Sparka adds live polls, quizzes and word clouds to presentations. We collect the minimum data needed to run sessions, deliver the product, and operate the company. This page describes what that means in practice.

Who we are

Sparka Labs LLC is a Wyoming-formed software company. You can reach us at hi@sparka.io.

What we collect

• Account info: your email address, from the sign-in option you choose (Google, Amazon, or email and password). We use it to identify your account. If you sign in with email, your password is kept by our sign-in provider (Amazon Web Services); we never see it.
• Content you create: presentations, questions, sessions, and the answers participants submit during your sessions.
• Participants: people who join a session don't create an account. They choose a nickname, and their answers are stored with that nickname and an anonymous id. We don't ask for their name or email.
• Apps you connect: when you connect an assistant, we keep its name, the domain it comes from, and when it was last used, so you can see and disconnect it on your account page.
• Billing data: handled directly by Stripe — we store your Stripe customer ID and subscription state but never see or store full payment-card details.
• Operational logs: IP address, user agent and the pages or endpoints requested, for security and debugging. Kept for 14 days, then deleted.

We don't use tracking cookies, analytics or advertising scripts. The site sets only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in.

How we use it

• To deliver and maintain the product
• To process payments via Stripe
• To send you transactional email (sign-up and password-reset codes, billing, security)
• To debug and improve reliability

Session results are kept for 1 year on Free and 1 year on Pro.

We do not sell personal data. We do not show ads. We do not share your data with third parties except the service providers required to run the product: Amazon Web Services (hosting, sign-in and email delivery), Stripe (payments) and Zoho (our support mailbox).

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. This removes your presentations, sessions and results. You can also request an export or deletion of your data by emailing hi@sparka.io. We aim to respond within 7 days.

Changes

We'll update the date at the bottom when this policy changes. Material changes get an email notice to active customers.
